Theatre Sports Schedule for 2012

Continuing Class

Continuing Theatre Sports students will have fun choosing their own focus for the term: tv/movies, props, characters, or word play.

Ages: Grades 4-8

When: Thursdays, 4-5:25 p.m. 10 weeks from Jan. 19-March 29 (please note there is no class March 15)

Cost: $100+HST

Beginners Class

Those new to Theatre Sports are welcome to come to the first class for FREE! This will give you a chance to find out what Theatre Sports is all about and if it is for you!

Ages: Grades 4-8

When: Thursdays, 5:25-7 p.m. 10 weeks from Jan. 19-March 29 (please note there is no class March 15)

Cost: $100+HST

Family Discount: If more than one child per family is attending a camp, each child will get 10 per cent off the registration fee.

Serious Fun! Theatre Bites

When: The third Saturday of each month - Jan. 21, Feb. 18, March 17 - from 1-4 p.m.

Cost: $20+HST if registered in advance, $25+HST at the door. $10+HST for each additional sibling

Shannon Scott

Shannon is super excited to be teaming up with East Street Station for an awesome summer program!

Shannon is the Founder of Serious FUN! Theatre Co., which offers theatre programs to youth. A graduate of the Fanshawe Theatre Arts Program, Shannon has carved a career for herself in directing, acting, and teaching.

Recent credits include directing Cassandra (London Fringe Festival), Skirts in a Box (Fanshawe College Fringe), The Line (a SF! New Works creation project with Briana Brown), Disney’s Aladdin Jr (Triple Threat Productions) and Little Women (The Livery). Her recent acting credits include Innocence Lost (Blyth Festival Theatre), Unspoken Words Don’t Lie (Juicy Fusion Films), Robin Hood (The Livery), and Fanshawe Grad shows: The MacDream Project (Lady MacBeth) and Les Belles Soeurs (Pierette). As a teacher, Shannon has created and taught drama programs for the Blyth Festival Theatre (Improvisation and Musical Theatre), the Livery Theatre, Casablanca’s Triple Threat Productions ’09, The Huron County Music Festival, The Goderich Celtic Festival’s Children’s College, local Elementary Schools (curriculum based), as well as her own theatre conservatory for youth that focuses on Shakespeare, comedic & dramatic Modern Works, Improvisation, Poetry, Mime, and Musical Theatre.
