Ruth is teaching Nia at the station. She discovered Nia while teaching in London. Her friend’s Yoga studio had a wonderful Nia class that was her answer to fitness and stress relief. After years of fitness classes and exercise machines, this felt so right! She loved Nia and decided to become an instructor when she moved to Goderich. Currently she is working as an occasional teacher for the Avon Maitland DSB and teaches Nia at the Goderich Y and at her home studio.
Ruth has a real passion for Nia. She finds that her body has responded with greater strength, flexibility, agility and stability. In other words, she feels younger and happier.
She loves that Nia has introduced her to a world of wonderful people and excellent training. She completed her White belt in November 2008 and completed her Blue Belt in August 2010.
She loves to share her passion and help others to feel the magic of the Joy of Movement.
